Riding Lessons

Group Lessons (Maximum of 8)

Come along and join our group lessons. We offer group lessons from 4 years upwards, from complete beginner to advanced level, available for half or one hour. There are five levels of achievement from complete beginner to advanced. You will be informed of your level of competence and placed into an appropriate class. (If you are unaware of your level of riding, a private lesson can be arranged seperatly, in order for our instructors to assess you and advise you on a suitable group lesson you can participate in). Our small classes (maximum of 8) enables our instructors to focus upon your individual riding needs, therefore helpful information can be relayed in more detail to provide you with the maximum amount of information to help you achieve results. Limiting places in all our group lessons enables us to keep all of our classes: safe, well structured, organised and very informative, because "safety is paramount" whist at the same time feeling relaxed, having fun and enjoying the ride, the combination has proven to achieve outstanding results. Monitoring and continuous assessment enables our instructors to keep each rider in their correct class and most importantly a class to keep you happy and confident to progress.

Glen Jakes Riding School certificates (level 1-5) are awarded on merit, we continuously assess all our riders and you will be informed by the instructor, when you are capable of moving up levels. There is not set amouint of time which it would take you to progress through the levels, you will be moved up when the instructor feels you are ready. If you are worried about your progress, please speak with your instructor to see where you are.
